Privacy Policy & KVKK Notice

This notice explains what data is processed on this website (signentia.forte.events) and within the Signentia platform, why it is processed, and the rights you hold under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
1. Data controller
This website and the Signentia platform are operated by Forte Tourism ("Forte", "we"). For the purposes of KVKK, Forte Tourism acts as the data controller for this website. For attendee data processed inside the Signentia platform, Forte acts as a data processor on behalf of the event owner (our client), who remains the data controller of its own attendee lists.
2. Data collected on this website
This is a static informational page. It is deliberately minimal:
- No forms, no accounts, no tracking cookies, no analytics. We do not profile visitors.
- Language preference. Your EN/TR choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It contains no personal data and is never transmitted to us.
- Server logs. Our hosting infrastructure may keep standard access logs (IP address, date and time, requested page) for security and operational purposes, retained for a limited period.
- Web fonts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When the page loads, your browser contacts Google's servers, which technically transmits your IP address to Google. See Google's privacy policy.
- E-mail contact. The "Request a demo" button opens your own e-mail application. Any information you choose to send us by e-mail is used solely to respond to your request and is not shared with third parties.
3. Data processed within the Signentia platform
Signentia is an event attendance and digital wet-signature platform. On behalf of event owners, the platform processes attendee data such as: name, surname, e-mail, phone, country, hospital/institution, company, title, event-specific fields, attendance records and digital signatures.
Purposes: attendance tracking, legally valid documentation of participation, and audit readiness (particularly for pharmaceutical industry compliance).
- Explicit consent. Before signing, each attendee confirms an explicit, timestamped consent statement on the device.
- Integrity by design. Every signature is sealed with an integrity hash together with device, IP and operator metadata, making tampering evident.
- Audit log. All actions on records are logged. Duplicate signatures are versioned, never overwritten.
- Controlled deletion. Records are soft-deleted: removed from view with a full trail, never silently destroyed. Erasure requests are honored deliberately through the data controller.
- Retention. Attendee data is retained for the duration required by the client agreement and applicable legal obligations, and removed upon a valid erasure request.
- QR codes. Personal QR codes contain only a secure link — no personal data can be read from the code itself by third parties.
4. Transfers to third parties
Personal data is never sold. It is shared only with infrastructure providers strictly necessary to operate the service (e.g. hosting and e-mail delivery), under appropriate data processing terms, or where disclosure is required by law or by a competent authority.
5. Your rights under KVKK Article 11
You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information about the processing; to learn the purpose and whether data is used accordingly; to know the third parties to whom data is transferred; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; to request deletion or destruction; to object to results produced exclusively by automated systems; and to claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
To exercise these rights, contact us at oktay.atalay@fortetourism.com. If your data was collected for an event, we will coordinate with the relevant event owner (data controller). Requests are answered within the statutory period of thirty (30) days.
6. Data security
We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data: encrypted transmission (HTTPS), role-based access control, PIN-locked kiosk devices on event sites, integrity hashing of signatures, and audit logging of administrative actions.

We may update this notice as the product evolves. The current version, with its date, is always available at this address.
